ABOUT THE TRAINER
Pritesh Gawande is a fashion, portrait, and product photographer, cinematographer as well as photography mentor with over 10 years of experience. He teaches photography in various institutions as a guest faculty and also organizes his specialty photography courses at PAPA. He has organized numerous photography workshops across maharashtra . He has guided more than 250 students to date and the number is growing day by day. Pritesh has worked on many documentaries, short films, advertisements, and music videos as a lead cinematographer. He has developed his style of visuals in the last few years and his clients love it. He is one of the well-known fashion and product photographers in Maharashtra. Pritesh is a master of playing with light, making it his specialty. He has honed his skills in capturing the perfect shot by manipulating light in creative ways. His unique style involves a minimalist and abstract approach, resulting in stunning visuals that stand out from the crowd.
What You Learn?
10:00-10:30am: Introduction to the workshop and the instructor. Overview of the workshop’s objectives
and structure.
10:30-11:45am: Overview and Technical aspects of fashion photography – Camera settings, lighting,
and composition techniques specific to fashion photography.
How to direct models and pose them for the camera. Review of Pritesh Gawande’s
portfolio and his approach to fashion photography.
11:45 am-12:00 pm: Q and A session/ discussion about great photographers work.
12:00-1:00 pm: Styling and Art Direction – Overview of styling and art direction in fashion photography
How to choose clothing, accessories, and props to create a cohesive look
Working with makeup artists and hair stylists to achieve the desired look
1:00-2:00 pm: Business Aspects of Fashion Photography – Overview of the fashion photography
industry and how it operates
How to market yourself as a fashion photographer.
How to negotiate rates and contracts.
Understanding copyright and intellectual property rights.
2:00-2:30 pm: Break
2:30-3:30 pm: Presentation and Quick Fashion Photoshoot Session –
Pritesh Sir will present a quick fashion photoshoot to participants, including a model and
styled outfits. Participants will observe and learn from Pritesh’s demonstration.
Participants will have the opportunity to take a few shots of the model using their own
cameras. Pritesh Sir will provide feedback and guidance during the photoshoot
3:30-4:30 pm: Editing Session –
Participants will select their favorite images from the photoshoot. Pritesh Sir will
demonstrate his editing process in Lightroom or Photoshop. Participants will have the
opportunity to follow along and edit their own images.
4:30-5:00 pm: Certificate distribution and Wrap-Up.
Note: Participants can share their edited images after the workshop and receive feedback and recommendations for further study from Pritesh over the mail or call.
